Like other updates, Google has recently started testing new sitelinks format. Sitelinks are links to other pages on your site that may appear under the search result for your site. Google generates these links automatically, and not all sites have sitelinks. Since Google has testing the new sitelink format, it’s not enabled to all the users and it can be seen only by few users from Today (16 Aug, 2011) onwards. Soon this update will be available to all the Google users. Demote Sitelink URL: Google Webmaters Tools has removed the sitelink blocking option and enabled a new feature to “Demote Sitelink URLs”. Using this tool we can easily demote the sitelink URLs which you don’t want to appear in Google Search Results. Goolge will take these demote requests into their account when generating sitelinks to your website.
